Frisco residents with difficulty making ends meet received support recently from the CoServ Charitable Foundation in the form of a $10,000 grant to Frisco Family Services.   The money will help pay bills and buy groceries for Frisco-area CoServ Members or Customers who are struggling financially.

“CoServ has been a great community partner — helping Frisco Family Services’ client families pay utility bills as well as providing fans in the summer and heaters and blankets in the winter,” said Melanie Perkins, Frisco Family Services Development Director.    FFS is one of the seven social-service agencies CCF works with to provide assistance for those in CoServ’s service area.

“CoServ has a vested interested in seeing the community thrive,” CCF Executive Director Dennis Engelke said. “Many CoServ Employees live in the communities we provide power to. Our children go to the same schools; we belong to the same places of worship. None of us want to see someone struggling.”

For more information about CCF and its stewardship, including how to apply for a grant and/or make a tax-deductible contribution to the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization, visit the CoServ Charitable Foundation or click the CCF tab at Facebook.com/CoServEnergy.
